His leadership helps align the team at every level, creating a foundation for strong execution and long-term success.

Kyera Smith

Co-Owner

Kyera Smith is a co-owner of Fat Matt Roofing and has played an integral role in building the foundation of the company. Based in Abilene, Texas, she has contributed to the growth and development of the business from its early stages to where it is today. Known for her attention to detail and hands-on involvement, Kyera has supported key areas such as financial oversight, payroll, and administrative processes. Her ability to bring structure and organization to the business has helped create the systems that allowed Fat Matt Roofing to grow and operate at a high level.

Alex Warren

Vice President

Alex Warren serves as Vice President of Fat Matt Roofing, leading operations, sales strategy, and marketing across the company. Based in Abilene and serving the greater West Texas region, he works directly with ownership to execute and maintain the company’s vision while driving performance across all areas of the business. He began his career with Fat Matt Roofing in field sales and quickly developed into a high-level producer. That foundation, combined with his leadership background, gives him a strong understanding of both field execution and company-wide performance—allowing him to build systems, improve efficiency, and drive consistent results across the organization.

Alfonso Salazar

Quality Control Lead

Alfonso Salazar serves as Quality Control Lead at Fat Matt Roofing, overseeing field quality, crew performance, and jobsite standards across all projects. Born and raised in Abilene, he brings over two decades of hands-on experience in roofing, construction, and field operations. Alfonso plays a critical role in ensuring every project meets company standards and is completed the right way from start to finish. Known for his leadership in the field and ability to work directly with crews, he holds a high standard for workmanship and accountability, helping maintain consistent, high-quality results across every job.

Angel Denman serves as Production Lead at Fat Matt Roofing, overseeing scheduling, materials ordering, and day-to-day production coordination. She plays a key role in keeping projects organized, on time, and running smoothly from start to finish. Born and raised in Abilene, Texas, Angel brings a strong sense of accountability, organization, and follow-through to the production team, helping ensure crews and customers stay aligned throughout each project. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, running, yoga, good food, and spending time with her family.

As a Texas transplant from Arizona, I spent the last 25 years pouring my heart into raising my three boys. Now that they’re grown, I’ve shifted that same energy into uplifting everyone around me. Whether it’s dancing, cheering on my boys at rodeos, or simply spending time with family, I believe in living fully and loving deeply. People are my passion. My goal is to add value to every life I touch. I live by the belief that success comes from creating value, touching lives, putting others first, being authentic, and staying humble enough to receive in return.

She plays a key role in ensuring accuracy, organization, and accountability across the company’s financial processes. A graduate of Abilene Christian University with a degree in Criminal Justice, Presley brings a strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to her work. Outside of the office, Presley enjoys spending time outdoors and with family and friends. She and her husband have a young son, Major.

Zach Gonzales is an integral part of the Fat Matt Roofing team, playing a key role in inside sales and customer coordination. He brings a high-level, structured approach to the sales process, helping ensure customers understand their options and feel confident every step of the way. Zach is known for keeping things organized and moving, bridging the gap between initial contact, inspections, and project execution to help everything run smoothly. Originally from Marathon, Texas, Zach earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, where he met his wife, an Abilene native.
